This mosaic is based on a photo by wildlife photographer Kandace Heimer (used with permission). It is the second of three pieces I have done with mothers and their offspring in nature. This particular photo appealed to me because of the reflectivity in the water which is always great fun (and a challenge) to translate into glass.
