Mosaicking for me has always felt like a mediative process. Cutting the material, arranging it and creating something new from broken pieces feels therapeutic. It has often helped me work through my emotions. Like many, I have a tendency to hold onto things; negative memories, worries, fears etc. Making this mosaic was a way of reminding myself of the freedom and relief that can come from just letting go.
